We’re bringing Hygge back this Autumn.
Year-round people across the country have been embracing the Danish way of living known as Hygge and our take on this unique concept is to return for October half term.
We’re bringing our pop-up café and licensed bar, Hygge Tipi, back to Cannon Hall Museum, Park and Gardens from 28th October to the 5th November 2017.
‘Hygge’ is a Danish concept which is best described as a quality of cosiness or comfortability; making simple, everyday things more meaningful.
At Hygge Tipi, this means creating a warm atmosphere where you can enjoy the good things in life with friends and family (not to be confused with a Danish themed cafe). As well as providing a cosy resting spot, visitors to Hygge Tipi will be able to enjoy a range of drinks, from coffee to real ales and spiced apple juice, plus an array of sweet treats and hot food will be available.
With the kids only just going back to school it may seem too early to think about October half term but our Hygge Tipi is the perfect retreat to sit back and take stock during the break. Everyone is welcome to enjoy a bit of sanctuary during their day out.
Don’t worry about the weather, our Scandinavian giant teepees form the perfect space to feel at home with comfy sofas, roaring fires, a kids nook with games, books and toys- all with an overall calm atmosphere and a warm, friendly welcome.
Don’t forget, your well behaved dogs are welcome at Hygge Tipi. We hope to see you there, where you can enjoy the happy setting that only Totally Tipi provide.
